DRAFT LINE
A 1985-style pseudo-3D arcade racer about using the cars ahead of you as an advantage.
Tuck into a rival's slipstream and the gauge along the top edge starts to fill — slowly in the shallow tow, much faster once you are riding the bumper. The shallow tow alone will only take you to 80%. The last stretch is earned in close.
Fire a full gauge from the deep tow and you get a slingshot: a longer, harder dash that scores every car you pass and opens an overtake chain. Fire early, or a car's width too far back, and you get an ordinary boost and nothing else.
Eight gates, one clock, and a fresh course every run — curves, hills, traffic and a finish line at the coast. Surplus time never carries forward, so the only way to buy more of it is to spend somebody else's slipstream.
Controls — Arrows or WASD to drive, Z X J K or Space to boost, M to mute.
